The first electric vehicle charging station has appeared in Namibia

The Namibian Government has ordered the installation of an electric vehicle charging station at the Windhoek headquarters of the Ministry of Labor and Transport as part of a pilot project.
The charging station was designed by the ministry's engineers and will serve as an example for further deployment of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country.
Government employees, including members of Parliament, must register to use this service. The service is free of charge during the trial period.
