Zimbabwe is recognized as a stable state

The World Bank Group has removed Zimbabwe from the list of countries with instability, conflict and violence, as well as from the list of countries with institutional instability.
The World Bank's decision reflects the country's economic and social progress, increased efforts to implement the Vision 2030 concept and transform Zimbabwe into an advanced economy with an above-average income.
During 2025, Zimbabwe's economy grew by 8.3% in real terms, driven by strong performance in agriculture, mining, manufacturing, and services.
Zimbabwe scored 62 out of 100 in the 2025 Open Budget Survey, placing it among the better-performing countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. The country’s budget transparency score has improved by 39 points since 2017.
