Uganda cancelled visas
The Ugandan government has published a list of 40 countries whose citizens can visit Uganda without a visa.
The country's authorities rely on the influx of tourists, investments and business contacts. In addition to most African countries, the list also includes several European and Asian countries, such as Cyprus, Malta, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia.
The list of countries with visa-free regime may expand further. At the end of December 2025, Kampala announced its intention to cancel visas for Russian citizens as well. In the meantime, Russians can visit the country by applying for an electronic visa, which is usually issued within a week.
