Tunisia creates an innovation center

The Tunisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIT) announced the establishment of the SPEEDUP Tunisia Hub, an innovation support center for local small and medium-sized enterprises and startups.
The project is part of the EU Interreg NEXT MED program, which connects Tunisia with a network of seven Mediterranean partner countries.
The center is located on the basis of a Commercial School in Tunis. About 364,000 US dollars will be allocated for its financing for 36 months from 2025 to 2028.
The official launch of the SPEEDUP Tunisia Hub is scheduled for autumn 2026. This new structure is designed to accelerate the growth of Tunisian companies and facilitate their access to international markets.
