Tourism in Cape Verde increased by 6%

According to the country's National Institute of Statistics, 1,248,052 people visited Cape Verde in 2025, an increase of 6% compared to the previous year.

The number of overnight stays increased by 8.3% to 6.12 million, and hotel occupancy reached 72%.

Most of the tourists in Cape Verde came from Europe. The main suppliers of tourists are Great Britain, Portugal, Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
