Togo cancelled visas for Africans

Togo has become the next African country to announce the abolition or simplification of visa requirements for Africans. This decision was made within the framework of the State policy of free movement aimed at strengthening regional integration and mobility of the population.
The actions of the authorities in Togo reflect a broader continental trend. Rwanda provides all Africans with visas upon arrival in the country. Benin has introduced a visa-free regime for holders of African passports. Seychelles and several other African countries have greatly simplified entry for many African travelers.
