The Nigerian airline increased its capacity by 55%
The Nigerian airline Air Peace, thanks to the purchase of new aircraft, increased the number of seats from 229,412 in September 2025 to 354,804 in September 2026, an increase of 54.7% compared to the same period last year.
According to the Official Airline Guide (OAG), Air Peace showed the fastest growth in capacity among the largest airlines in Africa, which allowed the airline to rise to 10th place on the continent, surpassing Kenya Airways.
Ethiopian Airlines, with a capacity of about 2.09 million passenger seats, which is 10% more than last year, retained the first place in the ranking.
