Africa is the 2nd continent on Earth in area with a great amount of natural resources.  There are more than 50 countries with fast growing economies and 1.5 bln population here. Africa today offers big opportunities for business and investment.

The CAR economy is stabilizing

 

 

The growth of the real gross domestic product (GDP) of the Central African Republic (CAR) in 2025 was 3.3%, compared with 2.9% in 2024. Economic growth is driven by the development of the primary sector of the economy and the recovery of investment.

 

By the end of 2025, the inflation rate was at 3%. The budget deficit decreased to 3.5% of GDP in 2025, compared with 5.1% in 2024. The growth of public debt has slowed and reached 59% of GDP in 2025, compared with 58% in 2024.

 

The African Development Bank forecasts real GDP growth rates of 2.9% in 2026 and 3.9% in 2027. Inflation may exceed 3%, and the budget deficit will range from 3.5% to 3% in 2026 and 2027.

 

The growth factors of the CAR economy are mining, forestry, modernization of the state financial system, acceleration of the implementation of current infrastructure projects.
