Tanzania's exports increased by 17.2%

The Bank of Tanzania has published its monthly economic review for July 2026, which highlights key macroeconomic indicators for the year ending June 2026.
According to the report, Tanzania's exports of goods and services increased by 17.2% to $19.9 billion in the year ended June 2026. At the same time, gold exports increased by 36.4% to 5.5 billion US dollars, and for manufactured goods – by 46.3% to 2.2 billion US dollars.
Revenue from services increased by 14.4% to 8.1 billion US dollars, while travel revenue totaled 4.4 billion US dollars, driven by a 4.5% increase in the number of international tourists to 2,291,479 people.
