Tanzania modernizes old hospitals

The Government of Tanzania plans to continue the reconstruction of the country's oldest hospitals so that they can provide medical services that meet modern health needs and standards.
Speaking in the Tanzanian Parliament, Deputy Minister of Health Florence Samizi said that the government has already allocated a total of 2.6 billion Tanzanian shillings (about $ 1 million) for the construction of new wards and the installation of new equipment in several provincial hospitals.
