Tanzania and Rwanda deepen cooperation

 

 

Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan and Rwandan President Paul Kagame pledged to deepen bilateral cooperation, focusing on trade facilitation, infrastructure development and regional integration.

 

This step is aimed at optimizing transit logistics for Rwanda, which transports 1.6 million tons of cargo per year through the port of Dar es Salaam, or about 70% of its imports and exports.
