Seychelles is the prosperity index leader

 

 

Seychelles top Africa in the 2026 HelloSafe Prosperity Index with a score of 98.09, ahead of Mauritius (77.09) and Algeria (54.24). 

 

Based on five indicators consistent with data from the United Nations Development Program and the World Bank, the index shows that Seychelles' GDP (PPP) is at per capita is USD 42,110, and HDI is 0.848.
