Russia will help Madagascar develop energy sector
Pavel Sorokin, First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, held talks with Karl Andriamparani, Minister of Mining Industry of Madagascar, in Moscow.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in various sectors of the fuel and energy complex, as well as discussed issues related to the development of the electric power industry, including projects in the field of renewable energy sources, in particular solar energy.
Madagascar's authorities are interested in the influx of technology and investment to modernize its energy sector, and the Russian side expressed its willingness to share its experience and support the development of a friendly country.
