Passenger traffic in Morocco increased by 3.5 million people

According to Morocco's National Airports Authority, passenger traffic reached 36.3 million in 2025, an 11% increase from the previous year's 32.7 million arrivals. This growth was driven by the African Cup of Nations and a significant influx of tourists.
A significant portion of this passenger traffic was handled by the two largest airports: Mohammed V Airport handled 11 million passengers, while Marrakech Menara Airport handled 10 million.
The "Airports 2030" plan, launched in Morocco in December 2024, envisions increasing the country's airport capacity to 80 million passengers and is estimated to cost between $2.7 billion and $3.9 billion.
