Nigeria to train 100,000 construction workers

On April 21, 2026, the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and the Cement Technology Institute of Nigeria (CTIN) launched a large-scale national professional development program aimed at training 100,000 construction workers in Nigeria.
Within the framework of the national program, training and retraining will be organized in such areas as masonry, plaster, carpentry and carpentry, tile laying, electrical installation, plumbing installation and maintenance, and pipe installation.
Students will get acquainted with modern construction tools and technologies and gain advanced experience, including through practical exercises, in the field of cement application and structural integrity assurance.
