Nigeria develops digital infrastructure

Nigeria is actively developing its digital infrastructure with the help of new satellites and the widespread introduction of fiber.
Currently, the country is building a national fiber-optic backbone, the length of which will exceed 90,000 kilometers. The work has been completed by 60%. It is also planned to launch two new communications satellites this year.
The government's initiative is aimed at expanding broadband connectivity across the country, reducing Internet costs and improving the quality of communications, primarily for businesses, government agencies and households.
