New stock exchange opened in Zimbabwe
The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) has launched the Zimbabwe Entrepreneurship Exchange (ZEEX), a new platform aimed at increasing access to capital for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The introduction of ZEEX is expected to open up new investment opportunities, while stimulating the development of small and medium-sized businesses and contributing to Zimbabwe's industrial and economic growth.
Currently, small and medium-sized enterprises in Zimbabwe account for 76.1% of all companies employing more than 70% of the country's working-age population.
