New gold mine to be developed in Zimbabwe
The British company Ariana Resources plans to start gold production at the Dokwe mine in Zimbabwe in 2028, managing director Kerim Sener said.
According to a preliminary study published in May 2026, the project will require about $164 million to complete, and within 12 years it will be able to produce an average of 80,000 ounces of gold per year.
Before the start of construction, it is still necessary to conduct feasibility studies and make a final investment decision.
