New cement plant to be built in Zimbabwe

 

 

The Chinese industrial group Dinson Iron and Steel Company has announced the construction of a $15 million cement plant in Manhiza, located in the Midlands province of Zimbabwe.

 

The construction of the new plant will support the growing domestic demand for building materials and at the same time reduce the country's dependence on cement imports.

 

The plant is expected to be operational by mid-2027.
