Namibia to spend $60 million on nature conservation

On May 20, Namibian public and private organizations signed a conservation funding agreement with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) worth over N$1 billion (approximately US$60 million).
The program, known as "Namibia for Life," aims to secure long-term financing, stable conservation policies, and sustainable natural resource management systems.
The program brings together public and private organizations involved in the management and conservation of Namibia's natural resources, covering 91 game reserves and forest areas covering over 230,000 square kilometers.
