Namibia increases uranium production

Namibia is preparing to increase uranium production in 2026.
Namibia is one of the world's three largest uranium mining players. In 2025, the country exported uranium worth more than 7.3 billion Namibian dollars (455 million US dollars).
There are three uranium projects in the country: Rössing, Husab and the recently relaunched Langer Heinrich, which will reach full capacity in mid-2026.
In addition, exploration work is planned this year at the Etango-8, Tumas and Norasa fields.
