Morocco's airports have received 22 million passengers

According to the National Airports Office (ONDA), in the first seven months of 2026, Morocco's airports handled 22,282,997 passengers, which is 8.77% more than in the same period of 2025.

International traffic increased by 8.82% to 19,894,489 passengers, while domestic traffic increased by 8.36% to 2,388,508 passengers.

Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport remained the busiest, handling 6,953,695 passengers, ahead of Marrakech-Menara and Agadir Al Massira.

European travelers drove much of the international growth. The market stayed the top source of passengers, with 16,541,007 people, up 9.29% year-on-year.

The traffic gains come as Morocco accelerates the expansion of its airport network ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which it will co-host with Spain and Portugal.

Under its “Airports 2030” strategy, Morocco aims to raise nationwide airport capacity from roughly 34 million to 80 million passengers a year by 2030.
