Morocco plans to become an artificial intelligence hub

A national center for the management and development of artificial intelligence has opened in Rabat.
The national center is only the first stage of a future digital ecosystem related to artificial intelligence. The country has announced projects to build large data centers in Dakhla, Rabat, and Ben Guerir. At the same time, the "AI Made in Morocco" strategy is being promoted, which envisions the creation of a national AI development model.
Particular attention is being paid to training young people. Morocco already has over 20,000 students mastering modern computer systems, educational programs for children and teenagers have been launched, and new specialized schools with advanced programs in AI, Data, Cyber, and Cloud are opening.
