Malawi to host Digital Africa Summit
The annual Digital Africa Summit (DAS) will be held on August 20, 2026 in Malawi, at the Bingu International Convention Center. The main topic is "Driving Digital Transformation of the Economy in Malawi: Opportunities, policy recommendations and the role of mobile".
Currently, in Malawi, mobile broadband is available in most of the country, while 4G covers 87% of the population, but only 12.5% of citizens use mobile Internet and its capabilities.
The Digital Africa Summit brings together policymakers, regulators, mobile operators, technology companies, investors and development partners around one goal: accelerating Africa’s digital transformation at the market level.
