Malawi plans to provide 80% of the population with access to digital services

The Government of Malawi prepared an ambitious national digital transformation program aimed at developing digital services as a central element of the country's long-term development strategy.
Speaking in the country's parliament, Minister of Information and Communication Technologies Shadrik Namalomba presented a roadmap aimed at increasing public access to modern technologies and the widespread introduction of digital services.
The key point of the strategy is the national goal of providing 80% of the population with access to digital services by 2030.
