Maize processing plants opened in Burkina Faso

 

 

On May 22, 2026, two industrial maize and cereal processing plants were opened in Dedougou, Burkina Faso. The total investment amounted to about $5 million.

 

The project to build grain processing plants is aimed at developing local processing facilities, supporting farmers and reducing dependence on food imports.
