Liberia's agriculture attracts private investment

Liberia's agricultural sector will receive additional support from private investors.
The Minister of Agriculture of Liberia, Dr. J. Alexander Nuetah, held talks in China with the leadership of the MAINLAND GROUP on expanding investments.
Dr. Nuetah highlighted the country's enormous potential, underpinned by fertile lands, favorable weather, abundant rainfall, and deep-rooted farming traditions. He also pointed out the possibility of increasing the cost of cassava, cocoa and coffee.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to increase investments in the agricultural sector of Liberia.
