Liberia will supply coffee to Nigeria for 20 years

The Government of Liberia and the Nigerian agro-industrial company JR Firm Group have signed a 20-year partnership agreement for the production of coffee worth $ 60 million (about 81.6 billion Nigerian dollars).
The agreement will revitalize Liberia's coffee sector, expand exports, and benefit more than 200,000 farmers, who are expected to establish more than 250,000 hectares of coffee plantations over the next two decades.
Liberia has favorable agroecological conditions and fertile soils suitable for coffee cultivation. A unique variety of coffee has been developed here, which was named Liberica in honor of the country.
