Kigali's industrial exports reached $290 million

Enterprises operating in the Kigali Special Economic Zone (KSEZ) exported processed goods worth about $290 million in 2025. Rwanda's total exports in 2025 totaled $4.2 billion, compared with $3.5 billion in 2024.
Founded in 2010 after the merger of the Rwanda Free Zone and the Kigali Industrial Park, KSEZ has gradually developed into the country's leading industrial zone. Over the past 15 years, more than 230 enterprises have been involved in the zone, covering industries such as manufacturing, construction materials, and industrial equipment.
In addition to exports, KSEZ has made a significant contribution to employment, creating more than 20,000 jobs as of 2025.
