Ivory Coast rubber sets new records

According to the financial statements, Societe Africaine de Plantations d'Heveas (SAPH), the largest producer of natural rubber in Côte d'Ivoire, made a net profit of $ 43.8 million in 2025, which is 33% more than a year earlier. The company's revenue increased by 22% and reached 598.2 million dollars.
SAPH manages 24,400 hectares of industrial plantations and controls about 29,000 independent farmers, which allows the company to directly influence price dynamics and production volumes.
In total, Côte d'Ivoire annually produces about 1 million tons of rubber and is the largest exporter of rubber in Africa.
In 2025, the global market experienced a supply shortage for the 5th year in a row. Global rubber production reached 14.9 million tons, while demand amounted to 15.6 million tons.
