Guinea launches national payment system NimbaPay
The Republic of Guinea has introduced the national instant payment system NimbaPay, which allows real-time payments between banks, electronic money providers, microfinance organizations and citizens.
NimbaPay is based on the open source Mojaloop payment software, widely used to support inclusive instant payment systems.
The new payment system is expected to boost economic growth by providing secure digital financial services to more people across the country.
