Gold production in Burkina Faso increased by 40%

According to the General Directorate for Economics and Planning of Burkina Faso, gold production in the country in June increased to 4,477 tons compared with 3.2 tons in the same period last year, an increase of 39.6%.

From the beginning of the year to the end of June, 26,752 tons of gold were mined in Burkina Faso. In the same period of 2025, the figure was 24.2 tons, an increase of 10.3%.
