Africa is the 2nd continent on Earth in area with a great amount of natural resources.  There are more than 50 countries with fast growing economies and 1.5 bln population here. Africa today offers big opportunities for business and investment.

Ghana's public debt decreased by 16.5%

 

 

According to the African Development Bank, Ghana's economy remained resilient in 2025, with GDP growing by 5.8% compared to 5.6% in 2024. The growth was supported by the service sector and steady private consumption.

 

Inflation decreased to 14.6% from 22.9%, the budget deficit decreased to 2.4% of GDP from 6.3%, and the national debt decreased to 45.3% of GDP from 61.8%. The current account balance also improved, rising from 2% to 4.4% of GDP, and exports relative to imports increased to 5.8%.

 

Ghana's economic growth is projected to slow to 5% in 2026 and 5.4% in 2027. Inflation is expected to fall to 9% in 2026 and 7.2% in 2027, while the budget deficit is projected to fall to 2.6% and 2.2% of GDP, respectively.
