Ghana to train a million programmers

The government's Million Programmers program has been launched in Ghana. It is planned to train one million Ghanaians in programming and digital technology skills within a few years. For these purposes, mobile operator MTN Ghana has allocated 2 million US dollars to the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technologies and Innovations.
The program is aimed at creating a strong talent pool in the field of digital technologies. By increasing access to programming and software development skills, the initiative is expected to boost productivity, drive innovation, and strengthen Ghana's competitiveness in the global digital economy.
