Ghana earned more than $4 billion from tourism

Ghana’s Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Abla Dzifa Gomashie, speaking at the Government Accountability Series in Accra, announced that the tourism sector generated revenue of $4.34 billion in 2025.
The number of international tourists visiting Ghana increased from 1,288,804 in 2024 to 1,303,962 in 2025. Domestic tourism grew by 7%, from 1.68 to 1.79 million visits.
Tourism continues to play a vital role in providing jobs, business, and economic growth, as well as in promoting Ghana's cultural identity.
