Gabon relaunches pan-African radio
Gabon has signed a memorandum of understanding with the holding company Libya Africa Investment Portfolio for the acquisition of 52% of shares in the pan-African radio station Africa No.1. The final transfer of shares will be completed in Tripoli after the approval of this transaction by the corporate governance bodies of the holding.
Radio station Africa No. 1 broadcasts in French in a number of countries in West and Central Africa, as well as in France. The main content of the radio station is news releases, talk shows about the problems of the African continent, national and popular music. The average daily audience is about 30 million people.
