Ethiopia's exports could reach $10 billion

Speaking at the opening of the 4th Made in Ethiopia Exhibition, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced that Ethiopia is on track to generate US$10 billion in export revenue this fiscal year.
The Prime Minister attributed this breakthrough to the country's expanding industrial sector, noting that production growth this year increased from 4.7 percent to 10.7 percent.
Ethiopia has produced $14.5 billion worth of import-substituting goods over the past four years, and plans to double this figure in the coming years.
Ethiopia's economy is currently growing at 10.2 percent due to advances in agriculture, mining, manufacturing, tourism, and technology.
