Ethiopia bought Russian planes and drones

 

 

As part of the fleet upgrade, Ethiopia has acquired Russian Su‑35 and Yak‑130 aircraft, as well as Orion-E UAVs.

 

The Yak‑130 is a training aircraft that allows pilots to train to control domestic and foreign fighters of the 4th and 5th generations.

 

Ethiopia has become the first foreign buyer of the Russian Orion-E long-range drone, designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and precision strikes.
