Egypt and Eritrea to open new sea route

The Egyptians and Eritreans have signed an agreement to launch a new sea route connecting their ports on the Red Sea. According to the agreements, Egypt will also share its experience in the field of railway construction and modernization of ports.
Currently, the trade turnover between the two countries is only $5 million. Most of it is accounted for by the supply of oil and petroleum products from Egypt.
