Djibouti supports small and medium-sized businesses
The African Development Bank and the Intercontinental Investment Bank (IIB) have signed a $10.75 million trade finance agreement to support small and medium-sized businesses and women entrepreneurs in Djibouti.
This agreement will allow the IIB in East Africa to expand its range of services and support the economy of Djibouti by facilitating the import of renewable energy equipment, manufacturing and telecommunications, as well as essential goods.
IIB East Africa is a licensed banking institution with headquarters in Djibouti and a representative office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, serving corporate and institutional clients along the Ethiopia-Djibouti corridor.
