Dangote plant in Nigeria sets new records
Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has increased its crude oil refining capacity to 700,000 barrels per day, exceeding its stated capacity of 650,000 barrels per day. The plans are to increase this figure to 1.4 million barrels per day by 2028.
The plant not only produces gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, but also liquefied petroleum gas, polypropylene and other industrial raw materials used in the production of packaging materials and consumer goods.
Currently, the plant supplies both local and international markets, exporting products to several African countries, as well as to the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the United States and Saudi Arabia.
