Burkina Faso to produce hydraulic equipment
The Council of Ministers of Burkina Faso issued a decree on the establishment of a company with predominant state participation, the Burkinese Industrial Company for the Production of Hydraulic Equipment (SOCIMAH).
The authorized capital of the company will amount to about $ 1.8 million. The state will own 70%, and the private sector - 30%.
Currently, almost all the equipment for the country's water infrastructure is imported. SOCIMAH will help ensure the "economic sovereignty" of Burkina Faso.
