Angola to receive $10 billion to support oil production

Patrick Pouyanne, CEO of TotalEnergies, announced at the Angola Oil and Gas Conference that he would invest $10 billion over the next five years to support the country's oil production.
According to TotalEnergies, part of the financing is intended for the implementation of the Caminho project worth $ 6 billion. Oil will be produced here at fields 100 km off the coast of Angola at a depth of 1,700 meters. Production is scheduled to begin in 2028.
