An agricultural robot was created in Egypt

Egrobots unveiled an autonomous agricultural harvesting robot developed by Egyptian engineers, marking a breakthrough in robotics, artificial intelligence and farm automation.
The robot uses artificial intelligence, computer vision, and autonomous navigation to identify ripe crops, navigate farms, and perform harvesting tasks with limited human involvement. It can be equipped with 4 robotic arms and can harvest about 160 kilograms of crops per hour with round-the-clock operation.
Egrobots was founded in Egypt in 2023. The company specializes in AI, autonomous systems and robotics for agriculture, industry and public services. Previously, the company also developed a road robot in partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of the Interior.
