Algeria launches smartphone production

 

 

Algerian company Sacomi has announced the launch of mobile phone production as part of a strategic partnership with Chinese giant ZTE Nubia.

 

Sacomi, which manufactures household appliances, plans to produce not only mobile phones, but also modems and tablets on the new production line.

 

The initiative aims to reduce imports, create skilled jobs, and promote the "Made in Algeria" brand.
