Algeria has announced an oil tender
According to the National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources (ALNAFT), Algeria has announced the "Algeria Bid 2026" tender covering seven oil exploration and production areas. Applications must be submitted by November 26, 2026.
One of the conditions of the tender is to invest in fields in the amount of 50-60 billion dollars to increase oil production.
According to the World Bank, hydrocarbons account for more than 90% of the country's exports.
