Air Algérie launches new international routes
Algerian airline Air Algérie has expanded its long-haul network with new routes to Asia, Europe and Africa.
According to the airline's official statement, on March 29, 2026, a new direct flight Algeria – Kuala Lumpur was launched, and since the beginning of April, two more long-distance flights have been launched – these are Algeria-Budapest and Algeria – Addis Ababa.
In addition, the airline has expanded its fleet with another Airbus A330‑900neo aircraft, capable of carrying more than 300 passengers and with increased fuel efficiency.
