Africa will receive more than $13 million for the development of electric transport

The Global Environment Facility has approved the allocation of $13.46 million for the Green Mobility Financing Facility for Africa, which is managed by the African Development Bank.
The funds, which include a $12.46 million soft loan and a $1 million technical assistance grant, will be used to support electric buses and two-wheeled vehicles, charging stations and battery replacement facilities.
