AFROFEST 2026 has started in Russia
The grand opening of the AFROFEST 2026 Festival of African Culture, which is a large-scale event in the field of public diplomacy, education, humanitarian and business cooperation between Russia and African countries, took place in Moscow, at the Library of Foreign Literature.
The opening ceremony was attended by dozens of distinguished guests, including the Ambassadors of Angola, Burundi, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sierra Leone, the Minister Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan, the Charge d'affaires of the Republic of Guinea, and representatives of embassies of other African States.
The international company Africa Consulting was represented at the event by Vice President Vladimir Lischuk and CEO Pavel Tsarev. On the sidelines of the festival, we managed to hold talks "on our feet" with the ambassadors and outline plans for joint work.
The cultural program of the evening included performances by African music and dance groups. A special event was the exclusive show of the collection of the Nigerian designer Priscilla Suchi Best, whose works represent a modern interpretation of African fashion and are successfully demonstrated and sold all over the world.
