A huge resort complex was opened in Ethiopia

Last Saturday, the Shabeely resort complex was opened in Ethiopia in the province of Somalia. The resort is located 29 km from the city of Jijiga, the capital of the region.
The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, President of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud, regional authorities and invited guests.
Shabeely is a large tourism project with an area of almost 400 hectares, which includes three restaurants with a capacity of 400 people each, cultural centers, high–tech conference halls, playgrounds for children, a network of shaded paths stretching 15.4 km, a fruit park with 10,000 trees, a camel park and a huge world-class hotel complex.
